The road ahead

Plonk is a cozy medieval MMORPG you play in a browser tab, where the gold you earn trades for real $PLONK on Solana. Here is what is in the game today, what is coming next, and what comes after that.

Now

In the game today. Log in and see it.

  • LiveHolding unlocks thingsPremium zones, better desk tiers, and holder emotes: Diamond Hands, Zaza, 67, Leet, and the new Ascend at 10 million.
  • LiveGold sinks that burnThe Burn Barrel, town games, travel, repairs and the pet store all take gold out of the economy.
  • LiveThe Golden WormOne exists in the whole world. Whoever fishes it up wins 5 SOL, paid by the team. Nobody has found it yet.

Next

Being worked on now. It ships when it is good, not on a date.

For players

  • In testingThe raid opens to everyoneThe Gilded Mimic goes from testing to a raid any party can queue for, with its own loot.
  • Built, not openThe Cursed MarshA level 10+ region of witches, skeletons and giants. The zone is built and waiting on balance and loot.
  • PlannedFarmingThe 19th skill: plant, tend and harvest your own crops, feeding cooking and alchemy.
  • PlannedHouse interiorsStep inside your house and decorate it, instead of only owning the outside.

For $PLONK

  • PlannedA bigger buyback deskHigher daily limits and deeper liquidity, so bigger sellers are not queued, and payouts stay fast as the player count grows.
  • PlannedMore sinks, more burnNew gold and $PLONK sinks in town so the economy keeps taking out more than it prints.
  • PlannedMore holder perksMore emotes, cosmetics and holder-only corners of the world, on the same public thresholds as today.
  • PlannedThe first mining rigsTwo or three machines mining Zcash on solar power, paid out as SOL and swapped into $PLONK every day. See the numbers.

Later

The direction after that. Real work, not yet started.

For players

  • PlannedMore raids and dungeonsThe Mimic is the first. Each one brings its own mechanics, loot table and story.
  • PlannedGuildsBring your friends under one banner, with a shared bank, ranks and guild-wide goals.
  • PlannedPlayer versus playerFights between players, in a place built for it, so nobody is jumped while fishing.
  • PlannedNew regionsThe map keeps growing past the forest, the desert and the marsh.

For $PLONK

  • PlannedSeasons and eventsRecurring events with their own rewards and burns, so there is a reason to come back and a reason for gold to leave.
  • PlannedDeeper holder tiersMore levels of holder benefit as the world grows, always announced up front.
  • PlannedMore mining machinesEach machine added raises the daily buying for good, paid for out of developer fees rather than by selling $PLONK.
A third track

Solar miners that buy $PLONK every day

Most tokens only get bought when someone decides to buy. Plonk is building a second source: a small solar-powered mining farm whose earnings are turned into $PLONK on the open market, every day, whether anyone is playing or not.

How it works, in plain words

  1. The sun makes the power. Over 200 solar panels, about 70 kW of them, with a 20 kW inverter and 100 kWh of batteries so the machines keep running when a cloud passes or the sun goes down.
  2. The machines earn crypto. Mining computers race to solve puzzles for the Zcash network. Winners get paid in Zcash. It is boring, constant work: the machines just hum along, and the power is already paid for by the panels.
  3. The earnings come back as Solana. The machines mine through a service called unMineable, which pays out in whatever coin you pick. Plonk picks SOL, paid straight into a Plonk wallet.
  4. That SOL buys $PLONK. The wallet swaps it for $PLONK on the market and puts it to work in the game's economy. A real buy, made with money from sunlight, not from hype.

What that adds up to

A snapshot, not a promise. Worked out on 17 September 2026 with that day's numbers: Zcash at $1,477, the Zcash network at 27.6 GSol/s, and an Antminer Z15 Pro doing 840 ksol/s on 2,780 watts. Mining pays in Zcash, so this whole table moves up and down with the Zcash price and with how many other miners are competing.

MachinesBuys per dayPer monthPer yearPower needed
1 rig~$70~$2,100~$25,0002.8 kW · 67 kWh a day
3 rigs the plan~$209~$6,300~$76,0008.3 kW · 200 kWh a day
6 rigs~$417~$12,500~$152,00016.7 kW · 400 kWh a day
12 rigs~$834~$25,000~$305,00033.4 kW · 800 kWh a day

What could change it: the Zcash price falling, mining getting more crowded, a dark winter, or a machine breaking. There is no promise here about the price of $PLONK. The promise is only this: the buying is funded by sunshine and machines, so it does not need a crowd to keep happening.

How to read this

No dates. Plonk ships when something is good enough to play, which is why "Now" is already a long list. Everything under Now is in the live game right now: log in and try it.

No promises about price. This is a plan for a game and its economy, not a forecast. The only SOL prize in Plonk is the Golden Worm, and holding $PLONK unlocks in-game things, nothing more.

Plans move. Anything under Next and Later can change order, change shape, or be dropped if it does not make the game better.
